No-Till Organic Market Garden Class

Join us for a 12-week class in Organic Market Garden Production for your small farm. The in-person class is held on Wednesdays, 5 pm-7 pm, from March 22, 2023, thru June 7, 2023. Topics to be covered include but are not limited to the following:

8. Growing the Five Crops You Need to Survive and Then Some
9. Integrating Livestock: Chickens, Pigs, Rabbits, Sheep, Goats, Cows
10. Harvest, Post-harvest, and Intro to Food Safety
11. Direct Marketing
12. Recordkeeping and Farm Management Systems

This class is hosted by Campti Field of Dreams in partnership with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and Lincoln Parish Library. Course materials will be provided for up to 50 in-person participants.
