Co-founder, Pastorek Habitats

Marc is a horticulturist, garden designer and co-founder of Pastorek Habitats, a landscape design, and construction firm, specializing in natural landscaping (wildscaping). Marc has been gardening with native plants been since 1989 and has been a professional horticulturist for 35 years. In 1997, he established a native wildflower and grass seed production farm in Carriere, Mississippi, that encompasses 12 acres with 50 experimental plantings that were all started from seed. He is the past president of the Cajun Prairie Habitat Preservation Society and the Mississippi Native Plant Society and is currently serving as president of the Louisiana Native Plant Society. Marc produces grassland seed for home gardens and landscape-scale herbaceous habitats.
